Special People
Caroline thoughtfully engaged the services of an interpreter to help non-Italian speaking folks like us engage is conversation. That's her at the left in the left photo below. And it worked! On a hunch, I asked her to introduce me to the gentleman in the center of the photo. I was right! That's Giuseppe's father, Giorgio. The center photo is the three of us. Giuseppe's uncle and wife joined us in the photo on the right. With the help of the interpreter, we had a lovely conversation.
Cake Time
Don't ask me why I'm sharing so many photos of Caroline and Giuseppe cutting the cake. I guess I was wondering how much of that monster they were going to eat!
